I Am Feeling Angry — Duas & Dhikr | PureDua
Angry 🔥

Anger is a sudden fire in the heart — often sparked by hurt, injustice, or frustration. Islam does not deny anger, but teaches us how to cool it, control it, and return the heart to balance through remembrance of Allah.

#1
Dua Seeking Protection When Anger Arises
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Transliteration
Aʿūdhu billāhi mina ash-shayṭāni ar-rajīm.
Translation
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shayṭān.
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3282 & Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2610
The Prophet ﷺ said: "I know a word which, if he were to say it, his anger would go away." Anger is often fueled by Shayṭān — this remembrance extinguishes it at its source.

📖 Qur'anic Reminder About Anger
وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
Wal-kāẓimīna al-ghayẓa wal-ʿāfīna ʿani-n-nās, wa-llāhu yuḥibbu al-muḥsinīn.
"Those who restrain anger and pardon people — and Allah loves the doers of good."
📖 Surah Āl ʿImrān 3:134
A verse that turns anger into strength and excellence — restraining rage and choosing pardon is not weakness, it is the mark of those Allah loves most.

Anger does not define you — how you respond to it does. Pause, seek refuge, and let Allah cool what the heart cannot cool alone.
