I Am Feeling Greedy — Duas & Dhikr | PureDua
Greedy 🤤

Greed is a quiet pull of the heart toward more — more wealth, more control, more comparison. Islam teaches us that unchecked desire can harden the heart, while contentment (qanāʿah) brings peace. When greed appears, it is an invitation to return to balance, gratitude, and trust in Allah's provision.

📖 Qur'anic Reminder About Greed
Inna al-insāna li-rabbihī la-kanūd, wa innahu ʿalā dhālika la-shahīd, wa innahu li-ḥubbil-khayri la-shadīd.
"Indeed, mankind is ungrateful to his Lord — and indeed he is a witness to that — and indeed he is intense in love of wealth."
📖 Surah Al-ʿĀdiyāt 100:6–8
Allah describes the human tendency toward greed with honesty and precision — not to condemn, but to awaken. Awareness of this pull is the first step toward freeing the heart from it.
