اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Transliteration
Allāhumma ighfir lī, warḥamnī, wahdinī, wa ʿāfinī, warzuqnī.
Translation
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.

Dua to Remove the Burden of Sin
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī ẓalamtu nafsī ẓulman kathīran, wa lā yaghfiru adh-dhunūba illā anta, fa-ghfir lī maghfiratan min ʿindika, wa arḥamnī, innaka anta al-Ghafūru ar-Raḥīm.
Translation
O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins except You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
📖 Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3535 — ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ
A direct acknowledgment of guilt and turning to Allah alone for forgiveness — this Dua names the weight and hands it entirely to Him.

Qur'anic Dua for Repentance — Prophet Ādam (AS)
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Transliteration
Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa in lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā lanakūnanna min al-khāsirīn.
Translation
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.

Transliteration
Astaghfirullāha rabbī min kulli dhanbin wa atūbu ilayh.
Translation
I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for every sin, and I repent to Him.
Reciting this Dhikr lightens the heart, purifies the soul, and reminds the believer that no sin is too great for Allah's forgiveness.

Wa man yaʿmal sū'an aw yaẓlim nafsahu thumma yastaghfirillāha yajidillāha ghafūran raḥīmā.
"Whoever does evil or wrongs himself, then seeks forgiveness from Allah will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful."
