Dua When Feeling Hurt or Wronged
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَشْكُو إِلَيْكَ ضَعْفَ قُوَّتِي، وَقِلَّةَ حِيلَتِي، وَهَوَانِي عَلَى النَّاسِ
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī ashkū ilayka ḍaʿfa quwwatī, wa qillata ḥīlatī, wa hawānī ʿala-n-nās.
Translation
O Allah, I complain to You of my weakness, my lack of resources, and my humiliation before people.

The Prophet ﷺ himself said these words after one of the most painful moments of his life. If he brought his hurt to Allah, so can we — with full trust that Allah hears every complaint.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ
Transliteration
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina al-hammi wal-ḥazan.
Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief.

Translation
My Lord, harm has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Transliteration
Ḥasbunallāhu wa niʿma al-wakīl.
Translation
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
A powerful statement of trust when pain feels heavy — said by the believers when surrounded by difficulty (Āl ʿImrān 3:173). Handing the hurt to the best Disposer of all affairs.

"Indeed, Allah is with the patient."
