Prophet Musa
Kalimullah — The One Who Spoke to Allah
Musa عليه السلام is the most mentioned Prophet in the entire Quran — his name appears 136 times across dozens of surahs. He is Kalimullah, the one whom Allah honoured with direct speech, and one of the five Prophets of firm resolve. His life is a breathtaking testament that Allah raises the most unlikely servants to carry the greatest missions.
He was born at a time when Pharaoh was slaughtering every newborn boy among the Bani Israel. Yet the very infant Pharaoh feared was placed by his mother into a basket on the Nile — and carried by the current straight into Pharaoh's own palace, raised by the hand of the oppressor himself. After decades away in Madyan, Musa returned to Egypt with nothing but a staff and his brother Harun — and stood before the mightiest ruler on earth to deliver the simple command: let the Bani Israel go free.
The miracles that followed — the staff that became a serpent, the nine signs, the parting of the Red Sea, the Torah descending on Mount Sinai — were not just proofs for Pharaoh. They were divine declarations that no earthly power, no matter how overwhelming, can stand against the command of Allah. When Musa struck the sea and it parted, it was the sea obeying its Lord — the same Lord who had spoken to Musa directly in the blessed valley of Tuwa.
